This lineup is basically very Primrose/Sorcerer-dependent because she does most of the heavy-hitting with multi-hit spells. I think the rest are around Level 59 (Olberic (Warmaster), Ophilia (Starseer), Tressa (Runelord)).īut regardless, the setup is that for the first battle, the lineup is: Primrose, Cyrus, H'aanit and Therion. My most leveled character is Primrose (Sorcerer) at level 67. No nuts or summons needed.įorgot the details, but my 'reserve party' is: Cyrus (Cleric), H'aanit (Apothecary), Therion (Merchant), Alfyn (Hunter) After many tedious retries, I finally got around finishing off Galdera. The only caveat is that it's a lot easier to break the game and accidentally one-shot every story boss after act 2, so if you skip most of those fights' more interesting mechanics, actually having to think can feel like a difficulty spike even though it isn't.Īlso, if you ever feel like tackling that first boss again, I've gotten really good responses to my no-farming/no-grinding strategy here: \_those\_still\_struggling\_to\_100\_ot1\_in/ People have done it without guides as low as level 60, and people who know the fight (doing challenge runs) have defeated both bosses with all kinds of self-imposed handicaps like: level 1 characters, no subclasses, no weapons, no consumables, etc. The optional superboss is still hard but can be beaten 100% of the time using a particular strategy by level 55. No, the story boss is pretty squishy and level appropriate, but does have some super fun mechanics that make you have to think on your feet a little bit (without having to grind).
