
Tried to then boot into safe mode, but the server displays login screen for 2 seconds and then spontaneously REBOOTS. I can ctrl+alt+del, but any option I then click does nothing. The windows login allows me to set a password and login, but instead of the desktop gives me a light blue screen where I can't do anything.

Tried to go through the install disk to Command Prompt > regedit and disabled all the setup values. The server says that it can't complete installation in safe mode. It just keeps doing the little animation forever. When I try to install an OS (Windows Server 2008 R2) it does all its installing, reboots a couple times and then gives the "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" screen.
